Kaija Kesa (b. 1978) studied graphic art and interdisciplinary arts at the Estonian Academy of Arts, graduating with a master's degree. Her work is mostly inspired by nature and an ecological-ethical way of thinking. Printmaking, as an art form with rich technical possibilities, is the artist's main means of expression. She has worked (since 2009) at the graafika.ee studio, and participates in both local and international exhibitions and projects (since 2000). She conducts workshops and courses in both printmaking and drawing. She was awarded the title of Network Baltic Young Printmaker laureate (2003). Kaija Kesa is a member of the Estonian Artists' Association and the Estonian Association of Independent Graphic Artists. The year 2018 ended with the print exhibition "Tondi lood" at Vabaduse Gallery in Tallinn, and 2019 began with a solo exhibition at the Estonian Drama Theatre.
