Mirjam Mölder-Mikfelt has been holding solo exhibitions since 2004, has participated in numerous joint exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad, and has taken part in various art projects. The recurring theme of her work is the sensing of oneness with oneself, nature and the universe. The artist finds inspiration in the colours of life, in mind-expanding music, in her own magical dreams, in transformative experiences brought back from travels around the world, and in everything else that makes the soul resonate. Everything that is genuine and inspired resonates with her highly sensitive nature. For the artist, painting is above all a form of therapy, a means of meditation and self-development. The aim of her work is to have a healing effect on the viewer as well, offering positive emotions, a state of peace and uplifting feelings. Experimenting with different techniques and materials results in distinctive, somewhat mystically tinged, dreamlike paintings that reflect the author's inner world.
