NOBA
Kruuse (b. 1959) considers art to be visual poetry. But poetry does not speak only of what is beautiful and good. According to Kruuse, it is important to notice small things, details, which, through their great impact, are no longer small things. In his paintings, Kruuse addresses the individual's relationship with society, with nature, with another person, and the destructive behaviour of man towards nature, that is, towards himself. The artist invites us not to rush, not to shuffle through life like a yellowing leaf. He mainly paints with oil and acrylic paints on canvas, and some works are also made on wood that is decades old. In that case, the wood becomes a second creator alongside him. Lately he has been experimenting by combining photographs he has taken himself with acrylic.
