Ülle Raadik (1948) has focused on decorative textiles both in public buildings and private homes – on textile as both a decorative and usable element that influences the entire space. The main protagonists of her printed and painted textiles are transparency and multi-layeredness, and the flowing force of colour. Raadik graduated from ERKI's textile speciality (1975), has worked as an art teacher, and has been actively involved in the work of the Lühikese Jala Gallery, as well as participating in numerous exhibitions both in Estonia and in neighbouring countries. She is a member of the Estonian Textile Artists' Association and the Estonian Artists' Association. (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
