Tiiu Lausmaa (b. 1989) is an artist and illustrator living in Tallinn who graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2018 with a bachelor's degree from the Department of Fine Arts. Her main media are painting and drawing. Her works cover a wide range of interests, such as the relationship between humans and non-human animals and nature, environmental problems, and the effects of mass production and the information age on the human mind. A large part of her life and work philosophy is inspired by Taoist texts, which she studied during her earlier studies. Her most recent solo exhibition took place at Staapli 3 gallery in June 2020.
