1986–
NOBA
Manfred Dubov (1986) depicts in his oil paintings the states of people and places, exploring the connections between the personal and the collective, the physical and the metaphysical. Many of his motifs come from personal life; they pass through the so-called "canvas of the soul", producing notes and sketches which later all find their way to the canvas in some form. Dubov graduated from the painting department of EKA (2010) and has actively participated in exhibitions. He has written two poetry collections and his debut collection "Täna leitakse kõik üles" (2016) was nominated for the Betti Alver Prize. Dubov has worked as a lecturer at EKA and as a nurse in the field of emergency medicine and training. He is a member of the Estonian Painters' Association and the Estonian Artists' Association.
