NOBA
Cristelll (artist's pseudonym) was born and educated in Tallinn. She has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts and is a member of the Estonian Artists' Association. Acrylic painting on canvas has become Cristelll's main means of expression. Her work is characterised by an intuitive journey and constant searching. Her inspiration comes from emotions, meaning, some rational or irrational object, organic forms, an event, a thought. The artist values reuse and experiments in her work with very different materials, from cinnamon bark to 3D-printed or ready-made objects. Her works can be found in the collection of the Estonian Academy of Arts, in the Mandalianpaillard gallery in Paris, as well as in private collections. Cristelll has shown her painterly work both in group and solo exhibitions, for example at MONA and at Haus Gallery. (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
