Erika Tammpere (b. 1942 in Rakvere) is a textile artist with long experience, whose work combines a deep sense of material, social sensitivity and a contemporary form. She graduated in 1966 from the Estonian SSR State Art Institute in the speciality of artistic textiles and worked for almost thirty years as a textile designer at several Estonian enterprises, including "Mistra", where she was also chief artist.
