Eldar Jakubov (b. 1987 in Tallinn) is a young artist who graduated in 2015 with a master's degree in installation and sculpture from the Estonian Academy of Arts. The artist on his work: "I remove unimportant objects and concentrate my gaze on the human body, on its character, mood, and above all on relationships between people. I am interested in society and the processes that make it work, and the illusions that give us the feeling that we understand this system. Every social problem and illusion, as well as physical ones, can be discussed piece by piece." (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
