1989–
NOBA
Elo-Mai Mägi (1989) has obtained Bachelor's degrees in Semiotics and in Painting from the University of Tartu, as well as a Master's degree in Painting there, and has furthered her studies in painting and textile art within the ERASMUS+ programme at the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland. Her main medium is oil painting. Her work frequently features the psychological (self-)portrait and the abstracted figure, drawing inspiration from psychological-emotional states, illnesses, or, more philosophically, from being human, normality and the like. She has been a member of the Estonian Painters' Union since 2014, of the Tartu Artists' Union since 2017, and of the Estonian Authors' Society.
