Moona Saul (b. 1992) studied fashion design and technology at TEKO in Denmark and at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. She then moved on into the world of illustration and painting. She held her first (group) exhibition in Amsterdam (2020). From there the winds carried her instead into the art of tattooing, and in parallel Moona found the technique of yarn tufting as a means of self-expression. Painting and illustration have always accompanied these pursuits at the same time. Moona's painting style is figurative art in a vivid, psychedelic and slightly ironic key.
