NOBA; Osta Noort Kunsti
Jevgenia Dudin (1986) is an artist from Pärnu, working in Tallinn. She has completed her master's studies at Tallinn University in the field of art education. She currently teaches fine art at a hobby school, helping preschool- and school-age children develop attention, taste and creative thinking. In her works she combines a decorative approach with realistic elements, using acrylic paints and saturated colours. Her paintings are devoted to everyday scenes in which one senses silence, observation and inner life. Contemplative female figures, everyday objects and interior fragments often appear in her paintings as depictions of memories or personal states. In addition to painting, she is also an illustrator: her work ranges from serious graphics for history publications to colourful pictures for children's books. She regularly takes part in exhibitions and develops her brand Padiloom, where she handmakes textile bags with illustrative motifs. This project combines her love of drawing, applied art and the desire to make everyday things a little more personal and expressive. (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
