1895–1980 · Estonian artist and caricaturist (1895-1980)
Haus Galerii; Viljandi Muuseum
(Ants Murakin's brother) Karl Murakin had studied painting under A. Laikmaa. As an amateur artist he belonged to the first, older generation of the Viljandi cultural centre's art circle. His painterly oeuvre stands out for a mastery approaching professional level. The artist had an excellent command of impressionistic colour treatment and realistic form.
