Jane Tiidelepp (b. 1971) is a painter, performance artist and poet residing in Tartu and Hiiumaa. She is currently in her 5th year studying eurythmy in the Performing Arts curriculum at the Viljandi Culture Academy. She has completed a BA in painting at the University of Tartu and an MA in art history at the University of Tartu, having previously studied in the free arts speciality at the EKA Open Academy. Tiidelepp is actively engaged both in painting and in eurythmy. In her painterly work she is intuitive and deals with both content and form, focusing rather on an abstract style of painting. Tiidelepp's works are carried out in both monochrome and blazing colour schemes, where the main aim is to find both deep meaning and total freedom in full abstraction. Jane Tiidelepp is a member of both the Estonian Artists' Association and the Estonian Painters' Association. (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
