Rosita Raud

Rosita Raud (1962) graduated in scenography from the St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy and has worked in various theatres in Estonia and abroad; in total she has designed more than eighty productions. She currently works as the chief designer of the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences. Raud has exhibited her work since 2000, and her practice is characterised by object-centred visual thinking that interweaves theatrical elements with sculptural and installation techniques. She is a member of the Association of Estonian Scenographers and the Estonian Artists’ Association.
