Viktor Gurov (b. 1989) graduated from the graphic design department of the Estonian Academy of Arts with a bachelor's degree in 2014 and from the Faculty of Fine Arts (photography) with a master's degree (cum laude) in 2018. He studied as an exchange student at Aalto University in Helsinki. Since 2012 Gurov has worked as a freelance graphic designer. He designs exhibitions and exhibition catalogues. Viktor Gurov occasionally teaches as a guest lecturer at the Academy of Arts. In 2018 he began working as a graphic designer in the exhibitions department of the National Library of Estonia. Gurov has participated in group exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad; he is a member of the artists' group Neandertali Koobaskool, on the board of the NGO Uus Materjal (an art project-magazine), and a founder of the graffiti group and streetwear brand Multistab.
