Reet Heinla

1952–
NOBA; Tartu Linnamuuseum

Reet Heinla (born 27 August 1952 in Tallinn) is an Estonian artist whose work focuses mainly on oil paintings. She graduated from Tallinna Reaalkool and Tallinn University of Technology with a degree in economics. Heinla began painting in 2005, furthered her education at various courses and studied the techniques of watercolour, pastel and oil painting. Since 2009 she has remained faithful to oil paints, as she finds that they allow her to express herself best. She has studied oil painting at the Tartu Popular University and, since 2014, has actively participated in the activities of the art studio "Suvi" under the guidance of artist Robert Suvi.
