E-Kunstisalong; Eesti Kunsti Oksjonid; NOBA; Vaal galerii
Nelly Drelli's (b. 1979 in Tallinn) work stands out for its bold and realistic treatment and abundance of figural compositions. She is not afraid to experiment with different art styles – so among her paintings one can find hyperrealistic cityscapes, national-romantic festive scenes, as well as all manner of other styles, from baroque to classicism. The artist is equally versatile in her choice of themes; her works include colourful sporting events, dramatic scenes from history, playful nudes, expressive portraits and landscapes in equal measure. The treatment of form and choice of motifs vary, but the main focus – people depicted harmoniously – remains. (machine translation of the holder's Estonian text, unedited)
