Began art studies under A. Kaigorodov. 1925-1929 studied sculpture at "Pallas". 1929-30 furthered his studies in painting and applied art in Paris at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Sculptor, painter, applied graphic artist. Went to Germany in 1944, from 1947 lived in England, from 1952 in Toronto, Canada. Was a member of EKKKÜ in 1940 and a member of EKKT from 1961-85.
