1995–
NOBA
Andre Joosep Arming (1995) lives and works in Tallinn. He studied in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Estonian Academy of Arts, BA in Photography (2018) and MA in Contemporary Art (2024). In his work Arming primarily uses the media of polaroid and video, as well as the diary format. Arming's works are characterised by themes such as being born and dying, experiential experimentation, timeline and cyclicality. After that he continued his master's studies in contemporary art, taking time to develop his position as an artist. In October 2022 he received a new heart. This year Arming took part in the group exhibition "Enese õrnad žestid" ["Tender Gestures of the Self"] at the EKA gallery (curator: Kaisa Maasik) and at the end of spring took part in the TASE '24 graduation exhibition at the Tallinn Art Hall.
